1: First and foremost, Who might you be for those of us that do not know?
My name is Laser, and I'm a 28-year old female puppy. I'm a massive music fan, an aspiring artist, and overall knowledge enthusiast. I'm very playful and energetic! I'm so proud of being a puppy, and it's a big part of my life.
2: For how long have you been involved within the puppyplay community?
I discovered puppy play in late 2016 and it felt like it was what had been missing in my life. It was exactly what I wanted but didn't know existed. A few months after that, I made it into a specific part of the international community, and realised that there wasn't a Swedish puppy community. So in late 2017, I hosted a meetup in Göteborg and created a Telegram group chat which came to be the base of our growing Swedish community, and is still the biggest and most widely used platform to this day for our community. I'm still an admin there, and I host meetups in Göteborg regularly since the summer of 2019.
3: What drew you in? and what made you stay?
The fact that there were other people like me, who also had a lot of other kinks and were open about them, is what drew me in. What made me stay was the fact that there are so many unique individuals in this community, that there are so many different ways of expressing puppy play, and that the Swedish community needed a lot of work. I've worked and am still working hard to create a space and contribute to a community that's safe, inclusive, and sober.
4: What aspect of our community do you find most appealing?
The opportunities for self expression and exploration, that gender doesn't matter, and the love and support for eachother. Just the beauty of coming together around a passion but having that passion be integrated into many other kinks and that we're encouraging eachother space for that.
5: Where do you see yourself within our community in a years time?
Hopefully more active, with a larger puppy gear collection, and still going strong and hosting meetups and working to contribute to the health and growth of our community. I'm also hoping to travel a bit more, and to collaborate with hosts in other cities to ensure safety, inclusion and as much sobriety as possible.
